Salaries for structural design engineers fluctuate based on experience and specialisation.

  • Graduates in design engineering can earn $55,000 - $65,000.
  • Junior design engineers can earn $60,000 - $75,000.
  • Mid-level design engineers with a few years of experience can earn $75,000 - $100,000.
  • Senior design engineers can earn $100,000 - $130,000.
  • Associate design engineers can earn $135,000 - $155,000.

Beneficial skills for design engineers include:
