Getting a project out of the ground requires a collaborative approach. It also requires honest and open communication, a willingness to be flexible, and a dedication to the end outcomes. As specialist recruiters within Australia’s built environment and project management sector, we believe that the same approach is necessary for the recruitment process.
We treat every candidate, client, and recruitment process as individual. No two of the same, and recognising this, we spend significant time building relationships with those we partner with to ensure that we can connect you with the right talent and career opportunities that can help you reach your goals.
.
With years of experience in recruiting across the Australian project management sector, we have built up an invaluable network of active and passive candidates, ranging from project coordinators up to project directors, and directors.
By partnering with us, you gain access to this extensive network, coupled with our industry expertise, enabling you to assemble a team of skilled project management experts who can bring your clients' projects to fruition.
We are partnered with a broad range of client-side project management, development and advisory consultancies, as well as corporate real estate institutions, and have helped them hire top-tier project management talent over many years. Our relationships are more than a transaction, and we have spent significant time getting to know our clients inside and out, so when you are looking for that next opportunity, we know just who you should be speaking with.
Project Management roles we recruit include;project coordinators and assistant project managers; project managers; senior project managers; project directors and associate directors
We place your best interests at the core of our recruitment process and want to see you succeed and hit your goals. By being thorough in the way that we vet our candidates and clients, we are able to use our industry knowledge in both recruitment and the project managment industry, to offer honest and thorough advice throughout the entire process.
Our network includes thousands of highly skilled project managers who have worked at companies ranging from boutique, local organisations to some of the worlds largest client-side entities, (and everything in between). We partner with them over the course of their careers, providing guidance and advice on career growth and skills development even when we aren’t actively working to find them new jobs.
Our consultants are amongst some of the best in the industry and are proud to have connected talented individuals from across the globe with some of Australia's most recognised project management consultancies, developers and institutions
The expected salary for a project manager varies as you become more experienced.
*Salary may depend on discipline, location, qualifications, accreditations and network/ability to generate business.
As a project manager there is potential to gain experience and move into more senior positions (such as Project Director), work directly for a client, or move further into the construction or development environments. Once you are fully qualified, you could apply for additional qualifications such as AIPM or PMP.
We have over 15 years of combined experience in recruiting within Australia’s Built Environment sector, building our network, and conducting the research for you.
Our network ranges from boutique project management consultancies to developers and major institituions.
We’ve spent our time getting to know these companies, inside out and out; their strengths, weaknesses, project portfolios, working cultures, development opportunities, working from home policies, when they recruit and what type of engineers they typically recruit for.
When you come to us, we take similar care in getting to know you as an engineer. Your career plans and what you want to achieve, your goals and ambitions, and what drives you. We listen to the type of employer you want to work for, the leader you want to mentor you, the types of projects you want to work.
From here, we use our ‘research’, and industry knowledge to advise companies that we recommend you meet with. Utilising our network, we’ll reach out to these companies in a confidential manner, with a view of setting up an initial introductory chat. And then the fun begins. We’ll guide you through the interview process, giving you tips and recommendations along the way, and when it comes to it, negotiate the best possible package for you. Should you find a position that suits you, we’ll guide you through the resignation and subsequent onboarding process.
We’ll then be on throughout your career, acting as your eyes and ears on the market, and been on hand to offer advice around how to continue to build on your career.
Over 90% of theproject management jobs that we place candidates in aren’t active jobs and are ‘off-market’. Our client is always looking for good engineers and using our market knowledge, we’ll make introductions to potential employers that align with your goals and ambitions, not just live jobs.
No, we also recruit on behalf of developers, buildings, and major instititions.
We recruit for project managers from junior assistant PM and project coordinator level right through to project director, associate director, and state director levels.
It’s rare that our clients ask us to recruit for project managers as they typically recruit these directly through graduate schemes and relationships directly with universities. That been said, we are always happy to provide advice, and you can find guides and tip sheets on our resource’s hub.
Yes, in fact, we have helped many project managers, at all levels, make the move from overseas, providing they have a valid visa (permanent residency or working holiday visa is most common). In some cases, we can assist those that need visa sponsorship before they relocate to Australia.
Accrediations such as PMI or PMBOK are looked upon favourable, as are qualifications in construction management.
