Our client is a Tier 1 global engineering and advisory firm with 30,000 employees globally - 2500 in Australia.

But get this… they operate like a Tier 2. There is no red tape, no fluff, just sound engineering.

They have managed to keep their structure pretty flat - meaning no corporate egos and I am's.

They promote and give pay rises when you've earned them, not because of how long you've been with the business or because you're friends with the manager.

Employees work from home when they need to, not when they are told to. They also get one extra paid day off per month (how good!?).

Having just secured one of Australia's largest defence packages, they have a secure pipeline of projects for the next decade. They are also involved in pretty much every transport project in Australia. If they aren't designing, they are reviewing. If they aren't reviewing, they are advising.

They are now looking for a Senior or Associate Fire Services Engineer to join their Sydney office (they will also consider you if you're elsewhere in Australia.

The position will primarily involve working on defence projects, though you'll also work on transport infrastructure, healthcare, and other major government-led projects.

For this role, they need somebody who has worked in the Australian industry for at least a handful of years. The candidate must be able to lead their own design packages through concept and detailed phases and be confident in coordinating with the client and other stakeholders.

Due to the nature of the work, candidates need to hold Australian Citizenship. Experience on the aforementioned project sectors is preferred, but if you don't this experience, don't let it put you off reaching out!
