Position Overview:
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a mid-level to senior, or potentially even Associate level, ESD Consultant to make a significant contribution to the Sustainability team. The primary focus will be providing technical expertise in energy modelling using IES, leading NABERS and Green Star submissions, and mentoring junior team members. You will play a vital role in delivering sustainable outcomes for a range of interesting projects.
What's Required:
The ideal candidate will have 5 plus years of Sustainability within Buildings Experience locally in Melbourne. It would be beneficial to have skills in energy modelling, specifically using IES software. A proven track record of successful NABERS submissions and experience with Green Star submissions is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for client management and mentoring junior team members. You must have strong project management skills to oversee projects effectively.
Team and Reporting Structure:
You will be joining a four-person ESD team and will report directly to the ESD Director and ESD Lead. The team works closely with a services team who provides additional support on projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the team's technical expertise and directly mentor less experienced colleagues. You will also work with company directors who are involved in project oversight.
