Join the team for Phase 1 of a $120M data centre project in Sydney, working with one of Australia's top-tier construction companies. You will play a key role in monitoring, reporting and review for all project administration and contractual matters, utilising both financial and document management systems.

Position Overview

As the Snr Contracts Administrator, you will be responsible for the technical coordination and delivery of key aspects of the project. You'll manage site logistics, liaise with subcontractors, ensure compliance with project specifications, and support the Project Manager in delivering on time and budget.

Key responsibilities

As Snr Contracts Administrator on the project, you will plan and manage the end-to-end commercial management of large subcontracts and self-performed works, both directly and indirectly. You will work effectively with internal and external stakeholders and direct reports to deliver project commercial outcomes

• Prepare, review, and manage contract documents, including agreements and variations.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure contract terms are met.
• Monitor project costs and budgets, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of progress claims and payments.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of contract changes, correspondence, and reports.
• Address and resolve contractual issues, disputes, and claims in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and company policies.

About you

You are a Snr Contracts Administrator with at least 7 years of industry experience as well as well-rounded experience in similar roles on large building projects. You will also have:

• Related tertiary education - Preferably have come through the Cadet route with a similar Tier 1 or 2 organisation
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying, Law, Commerce or equivalent
• Experience in data center, or education projects would be advantageous
• Must be willing to commit to a long-term career and work in the Greater Sydney area
