We currently have an opportunity to work with a close-knit project management and development management consultancy who do exactly that! You will have the freedom to run the projects how you see fit and work with a fantastic team in the process.
You will ideally be a project director/ senior associate with 15+ years of experience and experience in delivering projects in high-density residential space. They recognise this level of seniority, the knowledge of years in the industry, and the contacts you have too. They want you to be spending 99% of the time utilising your skills in the best way you can, and who better to decide that than you?
Our client is 70% project management and 30% PM, they treat this area of the business as completely fluid so the PMS can DM and the DMs can PM, making them an ideal spot to grow your skills.
The team is currently working on 57 active projects, many of them in the accommodation space with work in residential, retirement living, aged care and social housing. The sweet spot project-wise is $30-50m, some projects however are north of $100m.
You will be leading a team, and the perfect candidate would be able to leverage a contact book to help grow the business in client retention and fresh business development, you will benefit from performance bonuses off the back of it.
Culturally - these guys are a joy to work with, they believe in all things collaboration and like to attack projects as a team and bounce ideas off each other to come to the best solution for internal and external stakeholders. They take a common sense approach to work flexibility, with the office being the default option but happy to work around people's busy personal lives and project commitments.
